His music, described as "infectious," and “joyfully unpredictable” spans from chamber music to operatic works and solo compositions that integrate inward lyrical expression with Latin American rhythms and visual storytelling. Recent notable compositions include “Black Cycle,” and “New Cibao,” two Dominican sci-fi operas with original libretto; "Domini Cannis," a deconstruction of gagá for chamber ensemble; "Made in Gurabo," a song cycle on nostalgia for mezzo and piano; "Color de Hormiga," for accordion, harp, and cello; "Chanflín," a micro-opera based on Dominican folklore; and "Antillean’s Intellect," a deconstruction of chachachá for trumpet and chamber ensemble.
