Black Cycle

A chamber opera tracing the circular journey of memory and longing. Black Cycle follows Jules, who, tired of searching for her across time, stops the machine at the point of origin—to miss her. He rides his bicycle late at night, drawing circles on the wet grass, trying to shed the identity that love once gave him. Mud, petrichor, and repetition become his ritual of release. Between dream and obsession, the opera blurs time itself—no present, no past, only one continuous loop of attachment. An end can be rationalized; a goodbye cannot.
